The Foothills Stingrays Swim Club is a not-for-profit amateur swim club based in Okotoks, Alberta. The club swims out of the a 6-lane competitive pool at the Okotoks Recreation Centre. We offer a variety of programs that accommodate the new-to and experienced swimmer. Our season begins in September and for our non-competitive swimmers, concludes at the end of April. For our competitive swimmers, the season can last until mid-May or up to the end of June or end of July depending on the swimmer's accomplishments and goals. The club has been in existence since 1997 and offers both competitive and non-competitive programs.

Club Mission

Foothills Stingrays Swim Club will provide an opportunity for individual swimmers to reach their maximum potential through a positive experience in the sport.  We encourage and foster individual growth, team spirit and sportsmanship.

Club Organization

The Foothills Stingrays Swim Club (FSSC) is a registered, non-profit organization whose members include the parents or guardians of our swimmers.   The Board of Directorsconsists of the Past President and the following elected members:

Elections for the Board of Directors will occur at each Annual General Meeting in the following manner:

1.    In odd numbered years:  President, Vice-President, Fundraising and Officiating Directors.

2.    In even numbered years:  Secretary, Treasurer, Membership and Meet Manager.

Each elected member of the Board is elected for a two-year term commencing upon his or her election at the Annual General Meeting.  Annual General Meetings are held each year in the month of May.
