Martin Reichgott joined KKW in January 2004, moving to Alaska from Portland, Oregon. During his career, Martin has coached all levels of swimming, including club, high school and Masters.  He also currently serves as the Technical Planning Committee Chairperson for Alaska Swimming. 

Kate Gallaway

Kate Gallaway started swimming with KKW at age 12, and also competed for the KayHi Kings.  Her favorite events were the 100 Fly and 500 Free.  She recently graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno, and currently works at Ketchikan General Hospital while pursuing her nursing studies. Kate has two sisters who also swam with the Killer Whales and the Kings: Kristen and Courtney.

Britta Christensen

Britta Christensen has grown up in the pool. As a member of the Ketchikan Killer Whale Swim Club starting at the age of six, continuing to High School Swim Club and currently a Masters Club Swimmer, Britta has had many years full of great swimming experiences.  Outside of the pool, Britta loves to swim in the ocean. During the summers, you can find her outside paddling around Ketchikan. To name a few, her future swimming goals include long distance oceans swims in Rudyurd Bay and Boca de Quadra. Combining her love for swimming and her love for teaching, Britta is please to be coaching for the Killer Whale Swim Team.
 

Angie Taggart

Angie Taggart swam for Killer Whales and Kayhi, and continues to swim with the Ketchikan Masters.  She is a second grade teacher at Houghtaling Elementary school.  "I think that swimming is an excellent life-long sport and I am excited to b part of the Killer Whales Swim team."

When Angie is not at school or the pool, she is training for the 2011 Iditarod Dog Race.
