We are here to support your needs. If your questions are related to workouts, meets, events, goal setting, and other swimming related needs, please contact one of the coaches. For all questions related to administrative, such as dues, safety, or policy issues, please contact one of the board members.

All of our coaches, as members of the American Swim Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.

Lisa Schramek

Ass't Coach

Coach Lisa grew up in Petersburg, Alaska. She swam for VSC and PHS for a total of 12 years. At 17 she became WSI certified and began teaching lessons. After graduating from Petersburg High School in 1999 she moved to Corvallis, OR to attend Oregon State University from 1999-2004.

During this time she worked at Osborn Aquatic Center as a Swim America teacher, Swim America lesson supervisor, private instructor, and head lifeguard. She specialized in working with developmental swimmers and teaching parent/tot lessons. She returned to Alaska and began coaching with Viking Swim Club in 2004. Current certifications include: Red Cross WSI and LGI.
