Coach Todd has been coaching swimming for 27years. American Swim
Coaches Association level 4 .He started coaching in Fort
Oglethorpe, Ga. in 1981. He is a graduate of Jacksonville State
University, Jacksonville, Al. (1985 earned B.S. Degree). Coach Todd
took a graduate assistantship (Varsity Swimming & Diving) at
the University of South Florida.
Leaving Tampa in 1987, Coach Todd was hired by the Dade Co. Learn
to swim program in Miami, Fl. and the age group coach for the
Stingray Swim Club. With three pools, the team boasted over 600
swimmers.
Todd became the Head Swimming/ Diving/ Water Polo coach at
Miami-Palmetto Sr. High School in 1989. Selected Zone Coach for
Florida Gold Coast three times.
1996 Olympics- Coach Todd was hired with USA Water Polo. He became
the site supervisor for practice and security. Three tournaments
were held prior to the Olympic Games that he helped produce. Todd
was selected Head Florida All Star Coach 3 years in a row for
Florida Water Polo. (1990-1992).
1996-1997- Head Age Group Coach for the Greater Chattanooga
Aquatics Club(GCAC) in Chattanooga, Tn.
1998 to present- Head Swimming Coach for the Carpet Capital
Aquatics Club, Dalton, Ga. Currently, the Head Coach for Dalton
High School and Dalton Middle School. Selected Head Zone Coach for
Georgia`s All Star Team in 2000 ( Ga. won the Zone Champs in
Houston, Tx. that year). In 2003-2004 Coach Todd was selected Ga.
High School “Coach of the Year“.
