Mike Essig

Michael is a graduate of Ohio University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science and Aquatic Management. He received a Masters in Physical Education from the University of Louisville. Mike was a 3 year letter winner for Ohio University Men's team from 1985 to 1989. He has coached Ohio University's Masters Team, Plainview Racquet and Swim Club, Louisville Male High School and the Gold Vault Swim Team in Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Mike has coached swimmers to the Senior/Junior National and Zone/Regional Levels. He has also worked with Olympic Trial Qualifiers. Mike has been with the team since 1997 and Head Coach since 1999.

Scott Paulson

Scott is Head Age Group coach for TRITON SWIMMING. He has been with the team since January 2000. Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science, with a minor in Health Studies from Iowa State University, where he attended on a swimming scholarship. Scott swam both High School and College. He was a member of four record-setting relay teams in the Iowa LSC and was a five-time Junior National Qualifier. He coached for five years at the Ames Cyclone Aquatic Club in Ames, IA. His peers voted him Age Group Coach of the Year in 2000 and 2001 at the KY Long Course Championships in July. Scott has also service as the Head Coach for the KY Zone Team for 2000 and 2001

15-time (NCAA) National Collegiate Champion
1989 NCAA Female Swimmer-of-the-Year
1991 Honda Broderick Award Winner for swimming
1990, 1991 Finalist for the "Babe Zaharias Female Athlete-of-the-Year Award"
