The Lansdowne Lightning Swim Team is led by some of the most
dedicated coaches in Loudoun County. Their extensive knowledge of
swimming is only surpassed by their love of the sport and the
positive impact it has on the bodies and minds of our youth.
Whether a novice swimmer or consummate competitor, a Lansdowne
Lightning swimmer will benefit from the individualized attention
provided by this coaching staff.
The coaching philosophy is based on personal motivation and
teamwork. The coaches place heavy emphasis on technique and
efficiency and swimmers are encouraged to perform at their optimal
level. Coaches spend a considerable amount of time focused on
stroke technique, both wet and dry-land conditioning and
development of personal work habits through goal setting,
discipline, hard work, and above all - lots of FUN!
