Don was the former Head Men’s and
Women’s Coach at the University of Alabama and Head
Women’s Coach at Texas A&M. He has coached many
Olympians, most notably Janet Evans when she broke the 800 LCM
Freestyle World Record...a record that was the longest-standing
World Record until the 2008 Olympic Games when is was finally
broken. Don is a six time U.S. National Team coach with
multiple Olympians to his credit and he is looking forward to
developing many more with the Condors.

 Jeff AllenHead Coach WestchesterEmail

Jeff brings 30 years of coaching experience to
the Condor’s Staff. He has been the head coach for the Darien
YMCA, Darien High School, the Naperville YMCA and most recently the
Wilton Y Wahoos. Jeff’s teams have all won their perspective
Championships with the Wahoos winning 9 YMCA National Team Titles
between 1999 and 2005. Jeff also coached Dan Shevchick to a Bronze
Medal in the 1999 Pan AM Games. Coach of the Year honors have been
bestowed on Jeff for Connecticut High School, Connecticut Swimming
and the YMCA of the USA. Jeff was a member of the USA Olympic
International Operations Committee, President of the National YMCA
Coaches Association and a member of Connecticut Swimmings Board of
Directors. Jeff is extremely excited to begin a new chapter in his
coaching career with the Condors.

 Jim WargoHead Age Group & Asst. Senior CoachEmail

Jim was recently honored as the Allegheny
Mountain LSC Coach of the Year (2008). He has been a head coach for
eight years, and comes from Penn Trafford Aqua Club, which is
located in Harrison City, Pennsylvania. At PTAC, Jim worked with
all levels of the team and developed three super sectional
participants, fourteen zone participants, two swimmers with
National Reportable Times and one swimmer who broke two Allegheny
Mountain LSC records. Jim has also served as Head Coach and
Assistant coach for the Allegheny Mountain Zone Team. PTAC broke
107 team records during his coaching tenure. Jim swam at Indiana
University of Pennsylvania under Head Coaches Peter Ward and Matt
Tallman. He is looking forward to being a valuable member of the
Condors family.

 Bob CarlucciClub PresidentEmail

Bob’s unlimited contacts, resources and
years of experience make him Rockland County’s premier swim
coach. Bob was the head coach of the Condors from 1980 when he
founded the team until Summer 2008. As a swimmer, Bob was a
two-time champion in the New York City Public High School
Championships, including the 100 Breaststroke. As a coach, Bob has
developed top breastrokers in Rockland County including a
boy’s county record holder. He has coached swimmers at many
levels from Rockland County Summer Swim League Champions to Senior
National Qualifiers. Bob has developed top Age Group swimmers
including many nationally ranked top 16 swimmers. He has brought
dozens of swimmers to Junior Nationals and YMCA Nationals, helping
many to receive Division I swimming scholarships.

J.P. swam his entire USA swimming career with the
Condors Swim Club. During high school, he was voted the Rockland
County Swimmer of the Year (2001); won the Section I Sportsmanship
Award; and was chosen as a Scholar-Athlete of the Week by the
Journal News. J.P. matriculated to MIT and began his four-year
college swimming career eventually becoming a two-time NCAA
All-American. As captain in his senior year, J.P. set MIT records
in the 50 Breaststroke, 100 Breaststroke, 200 Freestyle Relay, 200
Medley Relay, and 400 Medley Relay. J.P. qualified for the NCAA
Championship meet in the 100 Breaststroke, 200 Breaststroke, 200
Freestyle Relay, 200 Medley Relay, and 400 Medley
Relay.

 Nicolas C ChevalierLessons & Team Administrator, CoachEmail
Nick swam for Don Lemieux and the Greenwood
Memorial Swim Club of Gardner, MA where he was a Junior National
qualifier and multiple-time NH state high school champion. Nick
then received a scholarship to Marist College where he still holds
2 school records. He is also a recent graduate of Quinnipiac
University’s MBA program where he was a Graduate Assistant in
the Athletic Communications department. Nick has been teaching
swimming lessons for almost 10 years and has coached with
the Marist Swim Club and the Cheshire C-Dogs. Nick currently heads
the Condors Learn-to-Swim program in addition to coaching the
Bronze group and handling team administration.
 Jason ReyesPre-Team and Stroke Development CoachEmail
Born and Raised In Anchorage Alaska and
graduated from West Anchorage High School in 1994. Became a
Certified Personal Trainer in the summer of 1994. Worked in various
facilities as a CPT for 10 Years before starting his own Personal
Training Company 1800
Fitness In 2004. As an avid mountain bike racer
and fitness enthusiast Jason began to race Xterra off-road format
Triathlon where most recently in 2009 he qualified for the national
championships in Ogden, Utah. He is currently pursuing an
invitation to the 2010 Xterra world Championships in Maui. In
addition to racing, coaching and running his business, Jason has
recently gone back to school to peruse a degree in childhood
education.
 Victor PenalozaAge Group Coach - WestchesterEmail
Victor Penaloza started the riptides swim
team where he coached for 6 years. He served as an assistant coach
for 2 years then became the head coach. When he took over as head coach
the team grew from 45 kids to 115. They swam in W.F.S.L.
(Westchester Fairfield Swim League) where in Victor’s first
year as head coach the team jumped from 16 out of 16 teams to
3rd in the league. The following year they took
2nd at the w.f.s.l. where the team broke 56 league
records. Victor also
sent swimmers to the YMCA state meet and brought home a total of 8
state individual champions the last four seasons. His teams most
recently won the YMCA State title for 12 & under boys and sent
4 swimmers to the YMCA National Meet (2009). Victor has also had
numerous athletes compete at the Junior Olympics, Zone Q, and
Senior Mets. He has a great connection with his athletes and has
been a great asset to the program.
 Jon HulbertAge Group Coach - WestchesterEmail
Jon was a coach at the White Plains
YMCA for 3 years before coming to Condors in 2009. He has helped develop 4
YMCA national swimmers and 5 YMCA State
Champions. He looks forward to building on the success that
the Condors have already achieved. Jon also swam for the Condors for
3 years, as well as his White Plains High School team. He is working on
his bachelor's degree in education at WCC.

Keith swam for the Rockland County Dolphins (AAU)
from 1974 to 1981 and also competed on two Rockland County Summer
Swim League teams: the Town of Clarkstown (1973-1979 - where he was
coached by none other than Bob Carlucci!) and the West Nyack Swim
Club (1980). As a Four Year Letterman for the Clarkstown South High
School Varsity Swimming Team, Keith was a co-captain in 1981, a
recipient of both the MVP and Coaches Awards and is a former school
record holder in the 100 Backstroke and the 200 Medley Relay. Keith
took a break from swimming, to start as an Attackmen for the
Division I US Air Force Academy Lacrosse Team for two years, before
transferring to Manhattan College where he swam on the Men’s
Swim Team from 1983 to 1985, qualifying for the Metropolitan
Collegiate Swimming Conference Championships in multiple events
both years and serving as a co-captain his Senior Year.
Keith began coaching for the Condors in 2005 and also currently
coaches the Clarkstown High School Boys Varsity
Program.

Nicole swam at varsity level from 7th - 12th
grade at NRHS, State Qualifier Junior and Senior Year. She also
worked as a developmental level coach for NRAC for three years
currently known as Team Rockland.
Nicole attended to Queens College where she swam Division II and
played Division I water polo for four years on an athletic
scholarship. She has a Bachelors in Exercise Science and Physical
Education from Queens College, a Masters in Exercise Physiology,
also from Queens College and a second Masters in Health Education
from Lehman College.
Nicole has worked as the assistant swim coach at Queens College
for one year after graduating, then obtained a teaching position at
the Bronx High School of Science where she also coached varsity for
one year. She is an American Red Cross Water Safety & Lifeguard
Instructor as well as a New York State Open Water Test Examiner as
well as a certified Lifeguard for 15 years.
She has coached boys and girls varsity swimming at North Rockland
High School.
Nicole joined our coaching team in February 2008.

Craig began his coaching career with the Paramus
Red Waves in 1985 and was their Advanced Senior Group Coach through
1986. He joined our team of coaches in 2006.
As an Age Group swimmer, Craig swam for the Paramus Red Wave and
the Rockland County Dolphins. He was the New Jersey Seniors State
Champion in the 200 and 400 IM, 200 Breaststroke and 1000
Freestyle; the Eastern Seaboard Long Course Champion in the 400 IM;
the Region I Champion in the 400 IM; and a Junior National Medalist
in multiple events.
As an Age Group swimmer, Craig swam for the Paramus Red Wave and
the Rockland County Dolphins. He was the New Jersey Seniors State
Champion in the 200 and 400 IM, 200 Breaststroke and 100 Freestyle;
the Eastern Seaboard Long Course Champion in the 400 IM; the Region
I Champion in the 400 IM; and a Junior National Medalist in
multiple events. Craig swam for LaSalle University and was captain
his junior and senior years (1984 & 1985). During this college
career, Craig was the East Coast Conference Most Valuable Swimmer
in 1983, the Metro Atlantic Conference Most Valuable Swimmer in
1984, a Senior National Qualifier 1981-1985 and an Olympic Trial
Qualifier in 1984 in the 200 Breastroke.

 Mila RazumovskiyStroke Development CoachEmail

In 1993, Mila and her husband moved to America
from the Ukraine, where she was born and raised. She joined our
team of coaches shortly thereafter in 1994.
Mila began swimming at age eleven and throughout her Age Group
swimming career she swam for Vodnik (1959-1962) and Sprtak
(1963-1967). Mila swam at the international level in the Ukraine.
While earning her Bachelor’s Degree in physical education at
the Institute of Physical Culture in Kiev, Mila began coaching for
Vodnik (1967-1989). After 22 years of coaching for Vodnik, Mila
spent four years coaching for Avangard (1989-1993), where she
worked with swimmers ages eleven to sixteen.

Lisa joined our team of coaches in 2005.
As an Age Group swimmer, Lisa swam for Bob on the Rockland County
Dolphins and then followed him when he began the Condors in 1980.
At the age of fifteen, Lisa swam for the Paramus Red Waves for a
year and for the Bergen Barracudas during the remainder of her high
school swimming career. Lisa received a swimming scholarship to
Hartwick College, where she swam for one year before returning to
Rockland County where she finished her degree at St. Thomas Aquinas
College.

 Bobby TrenczerGold Group CoachEmail

Bobby swam for the Condors since the team’s
inception in 1980. He started his coaching career with the Condors
in 2004. He was the 10 & Under YMCA 50 Free State Champion
(1986), a member of the Metropolitan Zone team as an 11-12 (1988),
YMCA Nationals Qualifier (1991-1993), member of the Section I
Championship 200 Medley Relay (1991). In college, Bobby was a
member of the Division I West Point team (1993-1994) and Captain of
the MIT swim team (1996-1997). After college, Bobby was ranked top
10 nationally in United States Master Swimming in the 100 Back and
200 Free Relay (2002).

John joined the Condors team of coaches in 2004.
Throughout his more than 20 years of coaching, John has trained
swimmers of all ages and abilities. He is an expert on swimming
techniques and drills.
John has been coaching in Rockland County longer than any other
current coach, with the exception of Bob. John began his coaching
career in 1984 as the Ardsley Union Free School District’s
Junior Varsity Swimming and Diving (Boys’ and Girls’)
coach and in 1985 was the head coach for their Coed Middle School
Swimming Team. From 1984-1994, John was Co-Head Coach for the Town
of Orangetown/Sharks Swim Club. During that time, he was also the
Girls’ Junior Varsity Swim Coach (1985-1994) and the
Boys’ Junior Varsity Swim Coach (1992-1994) for the South
Orangetown Central School District. In 1995, John became an
assistant coach for North Rockland Aquatic Club, now known as Team
Rockland Swimming and remained with them until 2004. John was the
Head Coach for Clarkstown High Schools’ Girls’ and
Boys’ swim teams for the 2006-2007 season.
