Jason D Roberts
Coach Jason Roberts joins the staff after working 17 years with the Northern Kentucky Clippers. During his time with the Clippers he accumulated a great deal of success taking the program from a locally competitive program in the Ohio LSC to a nationally competitive program. Jason is looking forward to a great deal of fast swimming as the Head Coach of Team Foxjet.
Jason is married to his beautiful wife, Branden and has two step-children (Hannah and Sam). He is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University. Below are Jason’s coaching career by the numbers:

Head Age Group Coach
Lloyd has been coaching nearly 30 years. This is his 14th year (28th season)
with Team Foxjet. Earlier in his career Lloyd coached at clubs in
California, South Carolina and Iowa. Lloyd is an ASCA Certified
Level 5 Coach. He has coached swimmers
from the youngest levels through Junior Nationals, US Open and US
Nationals. Lloyd has coached over 100 National Age Group Top 16 or
Top 10 Final Rankings, including several National Age Group
Champions and National Age Group Record Holders. He was honored in
2007 and 2009 by the American Swimming Coaches Association
(national office) as Minnesota Age Group Coach of The Year. USA
Swimming also selected him as an assistant coach for the elite
Central Zone Select Camp. Lloyd was also an accomplished
athlete with many years of swimming with AAU, Edina High School,
St. Olaf College and post-collegiate swimming in the military. At
St. Olaf, he was an MIAC Conference Champion, NCAA Division III
National Qualifier and Co-Captain.
Lloyd believes that developing life
skills and fostering personal growth are the key roles of youth
athletics. In addition to his coaching duties with our
National Age Group program, he also serves as our Team
Lead Age Group Coach
Coach Ryan has coached country club, high school, and masters swimming along with his club coaching. Immediately after college he started coaching for the Edina Swim Club and then made his way to be Head Age Group Coach at Team Foxjet.
Under Ryan's guidance athletes have achieved
Numerous National Age group Top 16 swims
200+ Central Zones Qualifying Times
2 individuals going on to win Zone Championships
4 out of 6 Age Group Team State Championships as Head Age Group Coach.
Minnesota Age Group Coach of The Year 1998
Recently Ryan has been working with the Hopkins Hurricanes while raising 3 beautiful children with his wife Mellanie. When Ryan isn’t on deck he enjoys kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, skiing and music.
Lead Developmental Coach
This is Traci's 2nd year (3rd season) with Team Foxjet. She swam competitively from ages 8-18, with club teams like Mach 3 Flyers, as well as Wayzata’s Varsity High School Team. From ages 8-18 she competed in all State meets, and got 2nd overall at age 11. Ages 9-14 she qualified for Zones. Her best events are the 50 and 100 freestyle, and she still enjoys swimming both on her own and with Masters programs!
She brings a broad range of developmental experience to the program with her swimming experience, her YMCA swim instruction, and 12+ years of teaching private lessons to all age swimmers. Traci is our Lead Developmental Coach and in charge of all 8/Under programming at Foxjets. Her knowledge and passion for coaching 8/Unders is readily apparent in our younger groups!
AG Bronze Co-Lead Coach
This is Brian's 6th year (11th season) with Team Foxjet. He brings 16 years of coaching experience in Minnesota swimming. He was also the Bloomington Jefferson High School Girls assistant coach for two years. Before beginning his coaching career in 1998, Brian swam competively for 15 years with the Richfield Swim Club, Barracuda Aquatics Club and the Bloomington Kenndy High School for four years. He was also a member of the Team Minnesota Zone coaching staff in 2007. Brian believes that perfecting technique, and individual effort coupled with team support will give the swimmer a long successful swimming career.
Director of Dryland, AG Assistant
This is Jenny's 3rd year (5th season) as our Director of Dryland and assisting with Age Groups. She is very passionate and knowledgeable about injury prevention, particularly with swimmers. Jenny is a former NCAA Division II National Champion (100 Backstroke, 2004). She knows the aches and pains swimmers go through to reach their goals. Her goal now is to work with swimmers to develop muscle balance with strength and flexibility to allow them to compete to their fullest potential. Jenny is a chiropractor, and owns Midwest Chiropractic and Wellness in Eden Prairie. She is an industry leader in injury-prevention and strength development. In her free time Jenny enjoys running (and still swimming!).
Age Group Assistant Coach
This is Andrea’s 8th year
(16th season) with Team Foxjet. She has always been called "Andi"
on the pool deck. She is an ASCA Certified Level 2 coach. Andi has
ten years of swimming experience as an athlete. She swam in Grand
Forks, ND and East Grand Forks, MN, and was the first East Grand
Forks Senior high school swimmer in a co-op between North Dakota
and Minnesota. Andi comes from a swimming family, where her three
younger siblings all swam and her parents still volunteer and
officiate. Andi first fell in love with coaching at Northern Area
Swim Association in Bemidji, while attending college there. She
most enjoys teaching technique and helping swimmers develop their
love of the sport.
Age Group Assistant Coach
This is Ariel's 9th year
(18th season) with Team Foxjet, all of which have been
coaching with our Age Group program. Ariel is the longest-tenured
assistant coach for Age Groups in the history of the Foxjets, and
does a superb job with this skill level and age. Over 200 swimmers
that have come through the Age Groups during her tenure have
achieved a Minnesota Swimming State Meet "Champ" time at some point
before the age of 13. She is a graduate of Kenyon College (Ohio)
where she was a four-year letterwinner and team captain. During her
thirteen years of swimming experience, Ariel gave private summer
swimming lessons to children for seven years in and around her home
town of Pacific Palisades in Southern California. She holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and works for Wells
Tasha Lyn Embry
ISM, Red Groups, Minifox Assistant
This is Tasha's 4th year (7th season) coaching
with Team Foxjet. She works with Minifox, Red Groups and Age Group
Bronze. Tasha is very experienced with our develepmental program
and an expert coach for younger swimmers. Tasha comes to us from
Martha Burns Swim School (where she still works) teaching swimming
for several years. An all-around athlete, she was a competitve
swimmer and gymnast at Hopkins High School. Tasha has also worked
with the YMCA, at two locations, teaching swimming lessons and
working with kids. She is a great teacher, motivator and
communicator with young children.
Age Group & Red Assistant Coach
This is Tanner's 2nd year (3rd season) with Team Foxjet. An undergraduate student and former Foxjet swimmer, Tanner brings a strong tradition of Foxjet swimming to our staff. He has studied child psychology and elementary mentoring. Tanner is excellent working with young children and is thoroughly versed in the Foxjet program. In addition to coaching he is currently a full-time college student.
Age Group Assistant Coach
is Elizabeth's 2nd year (3rd season) with Team Foxjet. She
brings a wealth of swim experience to our program. Elizabeth is a
former age group swimmer with the famed Mission Viejo Natadores in
California. She was swim instructor for several years with Swim
Venture in Ladera Ranch, California and is a graduate of the
University of St. Thomas, with a BA in Business. In other aquatic
experience, Elizabeth was also the president and founder of the St.
Thomas Water Polo Club.
This is Tessa’s first season with Team Foxjet. She assists with the Senior and Bronze groups. Tessa began swimming competitively at age 12 when she went out for the high school swim team. She was a part of the Watertown-Mayer-Delano swim team for 6 years while earning MVP for two seasons and All-Conference honors for three seasons. Tessa then went on to compete at the collegiate level at Minnesota State University, Mankato. While at Mankato, Tessa helped coach the Learn-To-Swim program on campus for four years. She is currently a graduate student at the University of Minnesota and enjoys running and spending time with family and friends.
