Head Coach/Gold Group- Brian Timpe
(3rd year)
Coach Brian began swimming
competitively at the age of nine as a member of the Sioux Falls
Snowfox swim team, a USA swim club. He swam for this team year
round until he graduated high school, being voted team captain his
senior year. Coach Brian was a member of a number of state
championship teams, a member of multiple South Dakota zone teams, a
multiple participant in YWCA nationals and a participant in the
YMCA national meet as a senior. After graduating high school,
Brian attended Drury University, ultimately earning a
Master’s degree in Education. He was a member of the
Drury swim team for three seasons and was a member of three
national championship squads. Coach Brian is an ASCA (American
Swim Coaches Association) certified coach and has a number of
coaching experiences. Brian has been the assistant boy’s
and girl’s high school coach at Park Hill High School
for four seasons. He has also been an assistant coach at
Old Pike Country Club five seasons. Brian has coached all
levels of swimmers from beginners up through all-state
swimmers. Coach Brian is excited to begin this
year with high expectations and looks forward to the team
exceeding them.

Danielle L Stoermann

Assistant Coach/Black and Bronze
Group- Danielle Stoermann (1st year)
Danielle worked for the YMCA of Parkville for three years, both
as a lifeguard and a swim instructor. She also taught private swim
lessons at Autumn Ridge, Riss Lake and the National for four years.
Danielle is also a certified Red Cross lifeguard instructor. This
is her first year coaching and she is very excited for this season.
Danielle currently attends Maple Woods College and is working
on a degree in Social Studies.

Kimberly Singer

Kim grew
up in New York swimming for Garden City High School as
well as the Long Island Aquatic Club. She was
a Nassau County record holder as member of 400 free
relay and a Garden City High School record
holder as member of 200 medley and 400 free relay.
In 2004, Kim went to The University of
Alabama as a distance swimmer. While
at Alabama, she competed at the SEC Conference meet in
the 200 back, 500 freestyle and 1650 freestyle. Kim was a 4-
year Academic All-SEC and 2-time recipient of the Tide’s
“Most Scholastic” award. She was voted team captain for
the 2007-2008 season.
Kim moved to Kansas City in June of 2008 and is
working for the UMKC Athletics Department, as well as pursuing a
master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. She
excited to begin her first season as a swim coach for
NLU.
