Janet M Harty
Head Coach
Janet has been coaching for Greenwood Memorial Swim Club since 2007. Prior to becoming a coach, she was a Masters swimmer and Masters Coach, Stroke and Turn Official, and Starter. Janet is also the parent of two swimmers on the team. She brings her enthusiasm and encouragement along with her love of swimming to the program. Janet enjoys working with children and receives great satisfaction from seeing all swimmers develop and progress in this sport. It is her goal to make sure that all swimmers are technically sound so that each one is able to reach their full potential. In addition to coaching, Janet is also the Team Manager. Janet is currently an ASCA Level 2 coach.
Janet lives in Gardner with her husband Phillip, her three children, Brandon, Ryan and Kaitlin and their dog Hayley.
