Brandon J Bonnette
Head Coach
Hello swimmers!
My name is Coach Brandon and I will be the Head Coach of the Belmont Sharks for the summer of 2009 swim season!
Here’s a little background information about me and my swimming career…
I started off taking swim lessons when I was about 10 years old and from that point on I loved being in the water. I played other sports like baseball, basketball and football as well, but I always loved swimming! I went to high school in Texas and for three years I swam year round for Texas Aquatics and for two years I swam for my high school. I was one of two captains of my high school team my senior year. I still swim for fun, but my competition days ended shortly after I graduated… for now! The future may still hold a few races for Coach Brandon!
I began giving swim lessons and coaching age group swim teams in high school and I did that for about two years. Since high school, I have been giving swim lessons on and off for the past ten years. However, this past summer I jumped back into coaching full speed and I have loved every minute of it. I began doing a few swim lessons at the end of the 2008 summer and I have rapidly progressed to coaching two teams. I am an assistant coach for Blue Waves at the Ashburn Pavilion and I am the assistant coach for Stone Bridge High School, GO BULLDOGS!!
I am also a middle school teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools. I love teaching, studying, researching, and learning all about HISTORY!
I look forward to working with all of you and I know the Belmont Sharks Swim Team will have a super fun and very productive summer of 2009! GO SHARKS!!!
See you at the pool!
Coach Brandon
