New Head Coach Steve Fitch joins the Phantoms after relocating to the area from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He has been involved in swimming and coaching for most of his life. His varied coaching experience includes summer league swim teams, year round age group programs, high school swimming and track teams, kids triathlon camps, and personal triathlete coaching.
 
Coach Fitch and his wife Anne have three children: Stevie, Peter, and Taylor Anne, who are swimmers and divers.

Hannah Cooley

Phantom Lake welcomes back Hannah Cooley as an Assistant Coach.  Hannah joined the Phantoms at age 7 as a swim team member.  She has also been a lifeguard and swim instructor for the last 4 years.   Along with her PLC swim experience, Hannah participated in Sammamish High Swimming her freshman year and on the softball team all four years.   Her work with youths includes Little League Coaching for three years and serving as a Camp Counselor .  In the fall of 2008, Hannah left Bellevue to study at the University of Montana.  Welcome home for the summer, Hannah!

 

Taylor Knowles

Another one of our long-time Phantoms returns this spring to coach.  For 2009, Taylor Knowles once again returns to Phantom Lake as Assistant Coach of the swim team. He is looking forward to returning and assisting the current PLC swimmers in attaining their best in the pool.
 
Taylor started swimming at Phantom Lake at age 6 and is still on the record board as a member of a winning freestyle relay team in the 12 and under boys.  He swam at Newport High School his freshman and senior seasons and was a member of their water polo team all four years.  Since Fall 2007, he has studied at the University of Arizona where he competes as a driver for their water polo team.    Welcome back Taylor!
