Molly Quinn

Molly Quinn has been swimming competitively since she was 5 and has been a Hog now for 8 years. Molly has been actively Coaching, Jr. Coaching, life guarding and giving private lessons for 7 years.  Molly has earned many high point trophies at individual meets and has ranked as her age group MVP since the year 2000. Molly has just completed her freshman year at Cal Poly. 

Arielle Dardarian Thys

Arielle has been a part of the Springbrook family since she was eight years old. She has been coaching, junior coaching and lifeguarding at Springbrook for the last seven years.  She attended Acalanes for 2 years and graduated from Campo lindo High School in 2006.  She swam and played water polo at both schools.   Arielle attends UC Santa Cruz where she will be a senior in the fall.  She is a health science major and wants to become a physical therapist.  

KJ Kroetch

KJ  has been a part of Springbrook since she was eight years old. She has been junior coaching since she was thirteen and was one of Springbrook’s assistant coaches last year.  She is currently a senior at Acalanes High School where she is a four year varsity swimmer.  She will continue her swimming career next year at Tufts University.  KJ’s favorite stroke is backstroke.  

Claire Pelpel

Claire Pelpel will be a sophomore at St. Mary’s College in Moraga where she is currently enrolled in the Masters in Education program. In her years at Acalanes, she played water polo and also swam on the varsity swim team. She has been swimming for Springbrook since she was seven.  She has been swimming most of her life and loves to coach.  This is Claire’s fifth year as a Springbrook Assistant Coach and she is looking forward to the upcoming season.

Conor Quinn

Conor has been swimming since he was 5 years old and started swimming at Springbrook when he was 8.  He just completed his junior year at Acalanes High School where he has been a varisty swimmer for the last 2 years.  Conor has been a Springbrook lifeguard for the last 3 years and has been a Springbrook Junior Coach, and Conor is also one of our 15/18 swimmers.

Nick Stefan

This is Nick’s first year as a Springbrook coach.  Nick comes to Springbrook after coaching for two years at Orinda Country Club where he swam as a rec swimmer for 8 years.  He moved to Orinda Aquatics where he swam for 4 years while also swimming for Miramonte.  An injury prevented Nick from swimming at Southern Methodist University where he currently is pursuing a double major in biology and economics.  He is a member of both the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. 

Haley Strausser

Haley has been a part of Springbrook since she was 7 years old.  She swam for the Hogs until she was 12 and then moved on to swim year round for Orinda Aquatics.  Haley has just completed her freshman yeart at Brown University where she swims on the swim team and is majoring in Economics.  She has been either coaching or working at our meets for the last 6 years and is looking forward to another great season!

Erin Connolly

Erin has been a member of Springbrook Swim Team since she was 6 years old and swam for the Hogs for 13 years.  She coached at Springbrook for 4 years and is starting her 5th year as a Springbrook lifeguard.  Erin graduated from Acalanes High School in 2008 and has just completed her freshman year at Furman University in South Carolina.  Erin is very excited to be running Hog Heaven this summer and is looking forward to getting to know our younger Hogs!
