Age Group Coach / Dryland Training Coach

Rob currently serves as both the Junior and Platinum groups
coach while also directing the dryland training for both these
groups and the Senior group. Before coming to SSFAC, Rob
worked as head coach for the Highlands Dolphins Aquatic
Club in San Mateo where he was instrumental in developing
and implementing their current USS swimming
program. He also spent time as head coach of the
Pendleton Swim Association in Pendleton, Oregon where he grew up
and swam as a kid. In his few years, Rob has been
privlieged to work with and develop athletes of all abilities,
from beginners to top ten nationally ranked
swimmers(for their age-group). He has a true passion for the
sport and lives to pass on the life-skills he has learned from
his own swimming experience to as many athletes as he
can.
As a swimmer, Rob swam competitively beginning at
age six and continuing through college, attending and
swimming for both Central Washington University and San
Francisco State University. While in high school he was a
4 year Oregon High School state qualifier and finalist, still
holding the Pendleton High School team record in both the
100 and 200 yard Freestyles.
Recently, Rob went back to school to study Kinesiology and
youth development, intending to infuse his education with a
continued career in coaching. He is happy to call
SSFAC home and looks forward to many more successful seasons
with a truly growing program.
