Coaches & Directors

 

All of our coaches, as members of the American Swim Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.

We are here to support your needs. If your questions are related to workouts, meets, events, goal setting, and other swimming related needs, please contact one of the coaches. For all questions related to administrative, such as dues, safety, or policy issues, please contact the head coach.

Coach Andy Baciocco began his swimming in S.C. with the Charleston Naval Base summer league team. He also swam several years in the NVSL in N. VA. His club experience has all been in VA with Starlite, Solotar, and Curl-Burke. Coach Andy also swam for the Naval Academy Prep School and the University of S.C. He is ASCA Level 3 certified and is in his sixth year of club coaching. Coach Andy wants to provide each swimmer the same opportunity to learn & excel in the sport of swimming.

Coach Tyler swam competitively from 1979 to 1985 with Solotar and RMSC.  He has coached in summer leages for 16 years and was also the Age Group coach with RMSC from 1984 to 1985.  Coach Tyler relocated to Florida where he was a program director for the Manatee Dept. or Recreation (2000-2003) and the head coach of the Bradenton Sea Dragons from 2001-2007.  He is a level II ASCA coach and has an Associates Degree from Montgomery College, Maryland, and he has studied Sports Management at Shepherd’s College.
