I began swimming for the Green Bay YMCA (GBY) when I was 6 years old and swam with GBY for 12 years. As I progressed my main strokes became distance freestyle and butterfly and I was a state qualifier and YMCA Nationals qualifier in those events. After competing for 12 years I was given the opportunity to swim for UW-Milwaukee. While at UW-Milwaukee I enjoyed great individual success. These successes include Rookie of the Year, Coach's Award and a still standing pool record in the 500 freestyle. I was part of back to back Horizon League Championships in 2010 and 2011, being a captain of the 2011 championship team. My coaching career began 7 years ago with GBY while I was a swimmer. I have coached for GBY, Pabst Farms YMCA, North Shore Swim Club and Southwest Aquatic Team in my 7 years of coaching. I have also coached at the University of Tennessee swim camps with a coaching staff that included Olympians Lars Jorgensen and Jonas Persson. I have coached swimmers of all ages and ability levels.
