All 10-under events are timed final events.  Swimmers will only swim each event with no finals sessions.

All SUSA swimmers will be seated on the pool deck throughout the meet.

All SUSA swimmers should check with the coaches before they leave the pool each session to make sure there have not been any changes to the schedule and/or plans.

SUSA Swimmers should wear only SUSA apparel on deck at that the meet.

  • Shirt Schedule:
    • Thursday - Orange State Meet Shirts
    • Friday - Blue State Meet Shirts
    • Saturday - Orange State Meet Shirts
    • Sunday - Blue State Meet Shirts

Team Caps - SUSA Swimmers wearing caps should wear their new team issued Gold SUSA caps  at this meet.

Awards Stand Apparel – SUSA swimmers should wear their 2012 SUSA Championships Shirt, SUSA sweat suits or SUSA Parka on the awards stand.

SUSA swimmers should arrive at the pool 15 minutes prior to their scheduled warm-up time for each session.

Please plan for possible traffic and parking delays when traveling to the meet each day.

Prelims/Finals Format Notes – SUSA swimmers should eat a healthy meal following the prelims sessions and take a nap at their hotel. After finals SUSA swimmers are encouraged to eat as soon as possible, return to their hotels and sleep right away. The sooner the swimmers can eat following their last event the better their bodies will recover for the next session. This is where healthy snacks (PowerBars, etc) that can be eaten quickly are very useful.

Reminder - We are traveling to the Age Group State meet to perform at a high level. It is easy at travel meets for our swimmers/families to become distracted and forget the reason for the trip.  Our swimmers have worked very hard and we put a high emphasis on performance for this championship meet.   Please be sure to take care of the things that will help the swimmers stay focused and swim fast (early bed times, eating properly, being on time for warm-ups, resting while at the hotel, etc).  Performance comes from doing things properly... these things do not happen by accident.

If you have any questions about the above items please contact Coach Jeff at jeff_susa@hotmail.com.

Thanks and Go SUSA!
