Description

Check in Time: 10:30AM at the

Frank Shorter runner statue on Folsom.

We are working the Buffalo Grill at the CU football games again this year.  There are 6 games.  We need approximately 14 workers per game.  Please read through all of the information and email me if you can work!

We do not know our meet schedule yet, and we will not know it until the scheduling meeting in October.  However, we will be attending our first meet October 16-18 (interferes with the Kansas game), and probably November 6-8 (interferes with the Texas A&M game).

The work consists of approximately 8 hours of fast paced, on your feet, non-stop action.  It is really enjoyable to hang out and play with other adult and 16&older members of our team.  It is also hard work.

There are two powerpoints attached which centerplate would like for you to read regarding policies.

You will earn a minimum of $60 towards your family’s fundraising requirements.  Last year we earned at most $80 per person.  It is determined based on total sales of the stand being over a certain amount.

The schedule follows all of the information.  Please let me know the dates of the games you can work and how many people.

Thank you in advance for all you do!

Nancy

-The shuttle picks up and drops off at the check-in tent or at the top of the hill at Folsom and Colorado. (walk down one block to tent)

-Please leave any valuables and as many personal items as you can behind. Centerplate is not responsible for anything lost stolen etc.

-If the group is providing a stand manager they arrive first.

-Group leader’s workers and cashiers arrive next.

-Each volunteer must check-in at the check-in tent.

-Each group member will first receive a wrist band.  This is your ticket into the stadium.

-Each group member will also sign in on a sign in sheet.  This consists of a signature, time in, and your wrist band number.

-Each group member will need to sign an individual volunteer agreement if not done so already.

-The group leader will sign out the uniforms.  The uniforms will already be in the stand.  On the record sheet, the leader must count the uniforms before and after the event and record the number.  Group leaders will be responsible for returning uniforms to the check out tent and turning in the record sheet at the close of the day.  (if you have to many, have someone assist you, or designate two leaders)

-Please be aware that your stand may be fully, partially, or not enclosed.  Watch the weather, you may wear clothes underneath the provided shirt but please keep them neutral. (Black, white, gray, dark blue, dark green, or let’s just say not hot pink!)

-The group leader will sign out the hats and shirts at check-in. They will also return all shirts and hats both worn and un-worn, in a garbage bag at check-out and sign them back in.  Un-returned uniforms will result in a deduction in pay (see penalties and policy).

-Centerplate will do there best to full-fill any shirt size requests. These can be made on the gate list.

D. Check-out Procedures

-All uniforms and hats must be returned and signed back in at check-out by the group leader.

-Only the group leader is required to check-out at the end of the day.  The group leader will be verifying that all volunteers have left and the stand is closed.
