From I-75 take Exit 9 and go north on Paddock Rd. (Rt. 4 ) to North Bend Rd. (The first

left turn after crossing under the railroad trestle). Turn left and follow North Bend Rd. to

the top of the hill (about 1-1/2 miles) . St. Xavier High School is on the right and Keating

Natatorium is behind the school.

This meet is intended for our more experienced swimmers. Recommended for Sharks, Marlins, Piranhas, and Seniors. Others interested in attending should contact their group coach first.

WARM UP TIMES HAVE CHANGED: 

 

Friday PM: 13&14, Open Warm Up 5:00 pm, Meet Start 6:10pm

Saturday AM 13&14, Open Warm Up 9:00 a.m, Meet Start 10:10AM

Saturday PM: 11-12, 9-10 & 8&U Warm Up 2:00pm, Meet Start 3:10PM

Sunday AM: 7AM Warm up, 8:10 Meet Start

Sunday PM:  Noon Warm up, 1:10 Meet Start

1. We’ve had a request to allow 11-12’s compete on Friday night of the meet. We have decided to make both events (400 IM and 500 free) 11 and up.
2. This is just a reminder that we will not be scoring Friday night’s events.
3. Our goal with this meet is to try to have both a dual meet and invitational format. Along those lines, we are asking that you note these procedures:

• We will swim 3 heats of 5 athletes (3 athletes per team per event) in the heats that are scored. All the rest of the athletes will be seeded in a traditional invitational format.
• The fastest seed time of the swimmers from each team will be in the ‘A’ heat, 2^nd fastest in the ‘B’ heat, etc.
• The A, B, and C finals will be only competing against the swimmers in their heats.
• The ‘A’ heat will be competing for 1^st -5^th, ‘B’ heat 6^th-10^th, and the ‘C’ heat 11^th-15^th. Since we are scoring to 20 places, the next 5 top times will score 16^th-20."

SINCE THIS IS QUITE A DEPARTURE FROM THE TYPICAL INVITE, PLEASE DON’T HESITATE TO CONTACT THE COACHING STAFF, PARTICULARLY COACH MATT, WITH QUESTIONS.

HOTEL INFORMATION

Please consider staying at the team hotel. Our hotel is the Sheraton Cincinnati North (888-627-7176) at $89/night, close to the pool with an indoor waterpark. Please reference Southeastern Swim Club when making your reservation.

*****As of November 17^th, the Sheraton will convert to a Crowne Plaza. There will be no changes to our room block, but you will notice a different sign out front when you arrive in Cincinnati****
