Each swimmer may participate in up to 4 individual events per day, not to exceed 10 individual events total for the meet. All coaches and deck officials must wear their USA-S cards in a visible manner. Entries will be accepted until the number of splashes exceeds the estimated time line, per the 4 hour rule, based on swimmer’s age and gender. If local conditions warrant it, the Meet Referee, with the concurrence of the Meet Director may require a mandatory scratch down to 3 events or less per swimmer. Immediate refunds will be made for any mandatory scratches.
Distance Rules: All swimmers in the 1000y freestyle and 1650y freestyle events must provide their own timers and lap counters. All swimmers in the 500y freestyle event must provide their own lap counters. The 1000 freestyle and the 1650 freestyle will be swum fastest to slowest.

Duplicate registrations will be refunded by mail. The meet is open to all qualified swimmers. Swimmers 19 years of age and older may participate in 11 & over individual events, but will not receive awards, and shall not participate in relay events. Disabled swimmers, attached or unattached, are welcome to attend this meet and should contact the Meet Director or Meet Referee regarding special accommodations on entry times and seeding per Pacific Swimming policy.

The close of check-in for the remaining events shall be no more than 30 minutes before the estimated time of the first heat of the event. Swimmers who do not check in will not be allowed to compete in the event.
NO DECK ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED (EXCEPT RELAYS).
SCRATCHES: Any swimmer who has checked-in for an individual event and fails to swim that event will be scratched from the meet unless the swimmer returns to the clerk of the course and repeats the check-in process for all remaining events. Failure to swim an event after the second check-in process will result in being barred from the next individual event in which a swimmer is entered on that day or the next meet day, whichever is first. The penalty will not apply if the swimmer scratches before the event is seeded, or if the Referee accepts proof that the failure was caused by illness, injury, or other circumstances beyond the control of the swimmer.
