WHETHER YOU ARE ATTENDING THE MEET OR NOT
Information about the
meet: This is a
very important meet on our schedule and all Senior & Junior
Platinum swimmers are expected to attend. The swimmers will be resting for
this meet and it is the only travel meet of the short course
season. There are no
time standards for the meet so all swimmers can swim any
event. This is a high
quality meet held in one of the best competitive pools in the
country.
Supervision & Ride
Information: All swimmers must have their own
transportation. There
will be no team transportation provided. All swimmers must have adult
supervision. There
will be no team chaperones.
The team
will not compete in the Friday afternoon 1650 session but will
compete in the Friday evening session (warm-up 3:30 PM, meet begins
5:00 PM – PLEASE NOTE THAT INDIANAPOLIS IS ON EASTERN
TIME). All swimmers
must be at the pool ready to warm-up at 3:30 PM
eastern.

Rates are $79/Double plus tax (this includes 2 hot buffet
breakfasts per room – additional breakfasts may be
purchased).
All rooms are reserved for Friday, 11/6 & Saturday, 11/7.
The hotel is located north of Indianapolis at 465 & 31
(Meridian) and is about 20-25 minutes from the pool depending on
traffic.
Supervision of swimmers, transportation of
swimmers to & from the meet and all meals are the
responsibility of each adult supervising the swimmer.
Parents who want to reserve a room in the team block must fill out
the attached form indicating their needs. Families do not need to stay at
this hotel and may make their own reservations at another
hotel. Parents must not call the Courtyard
on their own to reserve a room in the team block. The only way to get a room in the
team block is to fill out the attached room/entry reservation form
and return it to Bob or Jack on or before the due date which is
this Saturday, 9/26.
OUR
TEAM ENTRY MUST BE SENT IN ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH TO
INSURE THAT WE GET INTO THE MEET. ALL SENIOR & JUNIOR PLATINUM
SWIMMERS MUST HAVE THEIR ROOM/ENTRY RESERVATION FORM IN NO LATER
THAN SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH -EVEN THOSE SWIMMERS NOT
ATTENDING THE MEET
Team Swimmer Travel
surcharge: The
team Board of Directors has approved a per swimmer travel charge
for all meets that require over-night stay for the coaches. The money will go towards
the coaches travel expenses for the meet. The amount is $15 per
swimmer. A check for
$15/swimmer payable to SWAT must be returned with the attached
entry & room reservation form before a swimmer will be entered
in the meet.
