BUS TRIP-CARMEL WINTER INVITE (Deadline 12/2)

The Badger Aquatic Club is planning a team bus-trip to the Carmel CSC Winter Invite. The meet will be held at January 15^th, 16^th, and 17^th at the IUPUI Natatroium in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is one of the premiere competition pools in the Midwest (www.iunat.iupui.edu), and a great chance for our swimmers to see some tough out-of-state competition before getting ready for the Wisconsin Regional and State Championship season. It’s also a great opportunity for a fun trip, a neat experience, and some team bonding!  

The team will be taking a bus, leaving from the Edgewood parking lot early (~6:30am) on Friday the 15^th. We will be leaving the meet after the age group preliminary session on Sunday the 17^th. (This means we will not be staying for finals on Sunday.) We will arrive back at Edgewood around ???????

COST:  The bus will cost $51 per person and will hold 55 coaches/swimmers/parents.  We will
offer this on a first come, first serve basis.

HOTEL INFO:  Sheraton Inn, 31 W Ohio Street, Indianpolis, IN (6 blocks from pool).
$37.50 per night  (based on 4 in room/$150.93 with all taxes for full room).  Breakfast included.

CHAPERONES: Every 12 and under athlete needs to be under the supervision of a parent chaperone. This does not need to be their parent specifically, but every younger swimmer needs to have a specific adult taking charge of them. In addition, all athletes will need to sign a code of conduct, and any athlete not traveling with their legal guardian will need to sign a medical release form.

REGISTERING FOR EVENTS:  More information regarding the meet can be found below.  However, because we are traveling as a team, the coaches will select each swimmer’s events, so simply indicate that you’ll be attending.
