Description

Registration is now open for the 2013 Fishers Area Sprint Triathlon (FAST Tri), hosted by the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers (FAST). This year’s race will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Fishers High School. This unique event in Central Indiana offers something for everyone. Fast, flat professionally designed course will appeal to the experienced triathlete and the indoor pool swim coupled with great course support and shorter distances make this a perfect opportunity for first timers and youth to get their feet wet.

In its first four years the FAST Tri grew from 250 to over 600 adult and youth participants from eight states across the country. This year organizers have raised the participation limit to 750 and hope to see an increase in youth athletes who are looking to step out of their comfort zone and tackle a new kind of challenge. The scenic bike and run course takes participants through some wonderful tree-lined rural sections of the towns of Fishers and Noblesville, before finishing in front of state of the art Fisher’s High School Football Stadium.

The FAST Triathlon is a great family friendly endurance event, one that Central Indiana can be proud of. This race caps off the 2013 Triathlon Season and allows athletes one more chance to accomplish their goals for the year. Some other great reasons to Swim, Bike, Run... FAST:

Race begins at 8:00am Sunday, September 15 with the youth events starting upon the completion of the adult and relay events. Early bird registration fees are $65.00 for adults and $45.00 for youth individual participants.  Adult relay early bird is $65 per person and youth relay early bird is $45 per person.
