An impressive fact for West Islip Swim Club BROOKE BALDASSARE, KYLE BARRY, WILLIAM YE, MABEL YE, KYLIE DANIN, and  CARLI ZUKOWSKI have all made METRO’s LC TOP TEN LIST !! CONGRATS GUYS!!

58 WISC athletes competed at Counties and 27 of them scored points in individual events WISC finished 4^th 58 points behind 3^rd place!!

·           Alyssa Acompora Drops time in 3 out of 4 events!

·          Kate Aufort 4^th place overall in the 50 fly , 10^th in the 50 back, 10^th in the 100im , and 7^th in the 50 free

·          Brooke Baldassare competes after battling a fever for 4 days! 11^th in the 50 free, and 8^th in the 50 breast.

·          Kyle Barry dominates his events! 4^th in the 50 free, 3^rd in the 50 back, 6^th in the 50 breast, and 4^th in the 100im. Kyle earned a total of 79 pts for our team and was a member of the boys 9&10 200 medley and free relay!! Great Job!

·          Dylan Boyle earns best times in 2 out of 4 events. Dylan plays two sports and still turns it on when he has to!!

·          Andrew Bilello came here from Chaminade HS in February.  He said he wanted to improve is Breaststroke time. Andrew came in with a 1:06. 53 and went a 104.48 in prelims and came back to finals and went a 1:03.90 taking 9^th place! Great Job!

·           Emily Burton improves 3 out of 3 events!

·          Joe Byington drops time in 3 out of 4 events!

·          Noah Chernik not only drops time in 3 out of 4 events but he produced a total of 19 pts for our team not including the fact that he was a member of the winning 9&10 boys 200 free relay !! Great Job

·          Angelia Crisci earns best times in 3 events!

·          Amanda Crosby earns best times in 3 out of 4 events!

·          Sarah Culmo has the meet of her life with two lifetime best swims in the 100 back with the time of 1:03.61 placing 11^th overall and in the 100 free sarah went a 55.24 placing 6^th overall in the county!! AMAZING!! Sarah also broke 4 records!!

·          Kylie Danin breaks her own records in the 100 fly and 200 IM! She also wins earns 77 pts for our club! She placed 5^th overall in the 100 free( 58.10 best time ) , 4^th in the 100 Back, 4^th in the 100 Fly, and 6^th in 200 im ( 2:21.79 best time ) !

·          Marc Danin earns 18pts for the team! Marc also improved 3 out of 4 events! Great job !

·          Isabella Danzi Gets “A” time in the 100 Back and has two best time swims! Isabella was also a great addition two the girls 11&12 relays!! Great Job!

·          Tyler DiDomenico breaks his own 100 free record with a time of 54.83! Tyler also went a 1:02.80 in the 100 fly !! Tyler improved all of his swims !!





 

 

·          Patrick Drennan makes it back to finals in the 100 breast and goes his best 100 breast time ( 1:10.05 ) !! Pat also got his best time in the 100 back and 100 free. Great Job Pat!

·          Nicholas Galeto improves 4 out of 4 swims!! He also earned 55 pts for our team!! Nicholas stepped up to the plate when it was time to race!! Great job Nicholas was also a member of both boys winning 9&10 relays!! Great job Nicholas!

·          Giovanna Giua Gets “A” time in the 100 Back! Great job G.G.

·          Steven Gargano was a great help two the boys 11 & 12 relays and actually earned his best time in the 50 back ! Thank you and great job!

·          Sarah Giulianini drops time in 3 out of 4 events! She also places a huge 2^nd in the 50 free earning 22 pts for that single race! Overall she earned 58 pts! Great job Sarah! Sarah was also a member of the 9&10 girls relay team that placed 2^nd in both the medley and free!!

·           Jillian Greatsinger gets her best time in the 100 free!!

·          Bryn Harley improves 3 out of 4 events! She also earns 17 pts for our team! Great job Bryn!

·          Meaghan Harley goes her best time in the 100 Back !!

·          Aidan Healy our only 8 year old participating in this years counties! Improves 3 out of 4 swims !! Nice work Aidan!

·          Chase Henry is a huge help on the boys 15 – 18 relay!

·           Sierra Koehler earns 52 pts for the team! And improves her 50 free time!! She was also a member of both 9&10 relays!

·          Michael Lai improves his 50 back time!

·          Aidan McShane Places 4^th overall in the 15 -18 100 breast! Aidan went a 1:02.64 in prelims seated 6^th and came back to finals to go a 1:01.87 in finals and place 4^th!!  Aidan also went his best time in the 100fly, 200 im, and 50 free!! Great Job!

·           Loudan Meringolo went his best time in the 50 free!

·          Phoebe Meringolo improves 3 out of 4 swims!

·          Marykate Morcerf improves 3 out of 3 swims and earns a double A time in the 100 free!!

·           Daniella Nieves improves her 50 back time!

·          Alyssa Pffafe helps out tremendously in both 13-14 relays!

·          Kristen Pfaffe improves 2 out of 2 events!

·          Nicos Prokopiou improves 4 out of 4 events and is a member of the boys 1^st place 200 medley relay team. He also earns 57 individual points for our team!! Awesome Nicos!

·          Tyler Read drops time in 3 out of 3 events and contributes hugely to the 13-14 boys 200 free relay!

·          LeeAnn Santore Drops time in the 200im and was a member of both 11-12 relays! LeeAnn earned 16 individual points !!

·          K.K Schmid improves her 100 fly time and was a huge asset to the girls 15&18 relays!

·          William Schneider drops time in 3 out of 3 events and also participated in the boys 13&14 200 free relay!

·          Kevin Shires one of our youngest swimmers to participate improves 3 out of 3 events and earns 7 individual points! Great job Kevin!

·          Annelise Slack improves 3 out of 4 events and plays a major role in both girls 13-14 relays!

·          Jillian Smerechniak drops time in the 100 im and earns 5 needed points! Great Job!

·          Thomas Valenti breaks one minute in the 100 Back and 100 Fly for the first time! Congratulations Tom!

·          John Weilert improves his 100 Backstroke!

·          Justin Weilert drops time in 2 out of 3 events!

·          Bridget Whalen drops time in her 200 im and finishes in 16^th place in the 100 backstroke!

·          Chris Whalen earns 13 individual points. Chris also improved 3 out of 4 events!

·          Mabel Ye places 6^th overall in the 50 breaststroke! Mabel earned 18 points for our team with that one great swim! Way to go Mabel!

·           William Ye improves all his events and earns 68 individual points! William was a member of both 9&10 1^st place relays! Great Job William!

·          Carli Zukowski placed 6^th overall in the girls 11&12 100 breaststroke! She earned 18 individual points for that one swim as well!

 

  

Age Groups and Events
The following single age groups and event combinations will be tabulated and scored for both men and women:

9 & Under; 10-year olds:
200 IM, 200 Free, 100 Back, 100 Brst, 100 Fly

11-year olds; 12-year olds:
200 IM, 400/500 Free, 100 Back, 100 Brst, 100 Fly

13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 -year olds:
200 IM, 400 IM, 400/500 Free, 200 Back, 200 Brst, 200 Fly

How to Participate
Participation in this program is easy. Using the data available in the STAR database system, USA Swimming will automatically compute scores and results for all athlete members. Swimmers only need to compete in the IMX combination of events for their age group and they will be part of the program.

ANY SANCTIONED SWIM MEET THAT HAS THESE EVENTS LISTED WILL AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFY YOU !!
