right....came to Jeff with a message "We are here because of
you!!" The subject line said "We Miss You!" These young
ladies were at D-1 NCAA’s in College Station, Tx. This
is the highest level of college swimming and these 4 NCA alumns
were there representing their college teams. From left to
right are Tanya Krisman, USC, Anna Pold, University of Florida,
Blake Hayter, UC Berkeley (they won the entire meet!) and Amanda
Weinbrecht, UNLV!!! Way to go ladies we are very proud of
you!!
CIF’s (High School
Championship meet) for NCA proved to be a record setting
day!!! NCA athletes representing their High Schools accounted
for 18 out of a possible 32 individual titles and 31 of a possible
64 1st or 2nd place finishes. Many of our athletes had
personal bests in their events as well.

North Coast Aquatics
USA Swimming is proud to honor the commitment of our clubs
as we introduce the ninth year of the USA Swimming Club
Excellence Program. The focus of this voluntary program is to
identify and reward up to 200 USA Swimming clubs that have attained
a high level of athlete performance as well as organizational
success.

SAVE the weekend!!!!
September 25-27, 2009. This weekend will be the 1st reunion
of NCA alumni and families. It is the 30th year of NCA.
This will also be our annual fundraiser weekend....done a
little differently this year!!! It will be an Aquafun
event!!! Stay tuned for more details!!! It should be a
weekend of fun!!!!

stay there! Let them know you are with the NCA Reunion & ask
for Stephanie Bauerlein if you have any problems.
This fun evening of reminiscing will be followed the next
day by a "Family Picnic" on the beach in Del Mar. Bring the kids,
your beach "stuff" & a Pot Luck dish to
share.

mail any jpegs to Sue (you can get my e mail address under coaches
or contact us) or mail them to the following address. I will
make sure all photographs mailed to us get returned. I will
scan them and mail them back.

North Coast Aquatics, headquartered in Carlsbad, Vista and
La Jolla,California offers a complete program from the novice
to world-ranked swimmers.
North Coast Aquatics has been awarded Gold and Silver Medal
status by USA Swimming, ranking NCA as one of the top teams in
the nation.
North Coast Aquatics was founded in 1979 by Head Coach Jeff
Pease as one of the first coach-owned swim teams and is
currently the largest competitive swim team in the San Diego
area. NCA has 375 swimmers and 9 highly qualified coaches,
consistently fielding the strongest swim program in the county.
The North Coast mission statement is: "To provide a
program where each swimmer can achieve his/her highest level
possible and ultimately the attainment of the best college
opportunity possible." Over the last 30
years NCA and helped place over 225 of its swimmers into major
colleges across the United States.
