JEN SCHUMACHER PREPARES TO SWIM TO CATALINA
Long time
NOVA swimmer, and former coach, will take to the waters
again - BUT this time it will be more adventure than for
ribbons, medals or best times. Jen has begun her preparations for
the 21 mile Catalina crossing by training upwards of 7 hours
straight in the ocean. NOVA members are encouraged to follow her
preparations by following Jen on her
BLOG. Anyone interested in
supporting Jen’s effort with a financial contribution is
encouraged to drop Jen a note. GO NOVA!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF
2009
For most of us the end of
the school year represents summer, vacations, and time to relax.
For a select few, however, the meaning is far more significant as
they leave high school for the last time and begin a new chapter in
their lives as they prepare themselves for their new college
expereince.
The Novaquatics is proud
and honored to congratulate the Graduating Senior Class of
2009. Many of these
now young adults have been with our program from the very
beginning, swimming through the ranks of our developmental program,
into our age-group program, and finally finishing with our Senior
Training Groups.
“We are honored and
proud that each of these swimmers have called us home for the last
several years.” commented Associate head Coach Ken
LaMont” It has
been a privilege to work with each one of them, as they will be
missed from our NOVA Family. It is always exciting knowing
that we have had such a major influence during their young
developing years”
We wish them the best of
luck with all their future plans
