Team Information
Those families who have an online account
with Pacific Swim, with automatic payment deduction, are urged to
check the expiration date on their credit cards. We have had
problems with cards with expiration dates being returned, and
don’t want you to incur any late fees. Thank you!
Meet Entries Policy for Pacific
Swim
Regarding meet entries, please adhere to the following
principles: If you have two B times, you many enter an A/B
meet and swim those two events. You may enter TWO additional
or “bonus” swims at that meet, if they are within 20%
of the qualifying times. If you are way off of a B time, the
meet entry system will deny the entry. Swimmers entering a C meet
MAY NOT swim events in which they already have a “B”
time. All Senior Meets, and meets such as Junior Olympics, are time
qualifying only meets. Once you have submitted your meet
entry request, the fees for entering the meet are automatically
deducted. We cannot issue a refund after you have submitted
the meet entry for any reason.
Meet entries are due to PS on a Monday, and we urge you to then
verify your swimmers meet entries on Tuesday, when they are
available for review. The pre-entry report is only posted for
a 24hr period then all entries become final unless a request to
change a swimmers entry is received by no later than 8:00am
Wednesdays. Any request for changes should be sent to
gary@pacificswim.com This way, we can catch any errors and
hopefully make corrections
Playball, our new camp program geared for boys and girls
ages 3-8 , is here!
We now offer a new and exciting program for ages 3-8.
Playball is a sports program which progressively builds skills in
children ages 3-8. Sports Psychologist and Occupational
Therapists developed it 25 years ago and continues to grow.
In our Playball program each level is based upon the skills and
confidence that your children have acquired in previous play or
levels. This is a non-competitive, structured, fun and high
energy program. If you would like to hear more about this exciting

Junior Olympic Dinner - August 12 at Rancho
Arbolitos
This event is for all individual and relay swimmers who will be
competing in the San Diego Junior Olympics. The event will be
from 6:00-8:00pm, and will be a pot luck dinner.

*Bring something that reflects your cultural heritage
Please bring a drink of your choice, Pacific Swim will
provide all silverware and napkins. J.O caps will be on sale
for $8.00, and ALL swimmers will receive a J.O team t-shirt!
Pacific Swim’s Annual Banquet – October 17 at Lake
Poway
Our annual Banquet is coming up again! This is a fabulous,
fun event, with TROPHIES for swimmers at all levels. Coaches
also award Special Prizes to outstanding individuals. Tickets
will be on sale form August 15th – September 25th. NO
TICKETS will be available after this date, as we have to order
trophies and food. We will have a Mexican Fiesta, with steak
and chicken tacos, rice, beans and drinks. There will also be
a giant, delicious, team cake! We will have games, music, dancing,
and fun activities for the whole family! Tickets are $30.00
per person
Entries for the La Jolla Roughwater Swim can be
processed online and mailed in. You will need to include a
copy of your USA Swimming Registration card with your entry.
