The Baranof Barracuda Swim Club is Sitka's premiere swim team. Under head coach Suha Tokman, BBSC offers high quality, professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. Coach Suha, a Level 5 coach with the American Swimming Coaches Association, brings more than 40 years of coaching experience to the club. BBSC is a registered member of USA Swimming.
The goal of our swim team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor. We will achieve this by teaching swimmers to set goals, respect each other, and work hard. They will do all this while forging an unbreakable team bond. We are a competitive team and we want these athletes to enjoy a safe, healthy, and fun activity...swimming. BBSC offers swimming lessons, age group swimming, and masters swimming.
