Swift Swimming is a year round Competitive, Fitness, and Masters swim programme offering Learn-to-Swim classes through its Swim America programme. It presently operates 3 sites in Nassau: St. Andrew’s International School, St. Anne’s School, and Lyford Cay International School

The team offers qualified ASCA trained professional coaches as well as Swim America trained Site Supervisors. Our Age Group and Masters programmes have produced top swimmers who hold many of our National records and have represented The Bahamas at every level of International swimming, including 4 Olympic Games.

The club was formed in 1990 and is owned and run by the husband and wife team of Andy and Nancy Knowles. Swift was the first club in The Bahamas to be owned by its coach, which has resulted in a stable, reliable, and well trained coaching staff.

The club is presently working with the Ministry of Education developing a National Learn to Swim programme for all Bahamian School children using the Swim America as a model.

Our goal is to make every Bahamian a swimmer and make them SWIFT!
