Welcome to the City
of Mobile Swim Association (CMSA) and the world of swimming! We
have a history of being one of the finest competitive swim teams in
Southeastern Swimming and we have been serving the Gulf Coast since
1979. We are a parent operated, non-profit program. Our
swimmers, coaches and parents are all proud of our past
accomplishments and we are looking forward to an even brighter
future.
Our team is
comprised of a variety of practice groups ranging from the
entry-level swimmer to the Senior National and Olympic Trials
qualifier. CMSA’s team goals are to develop the character,
skills and desire necessary for each child to maximize his or her
potential. Our swimmers develop physical fitness, self -discipline
and self-esteem enabling them to maximize their potential, both
athletically and personally.
We are pleased that
you have shown an interest in our program. Inside you will find
information about team objectives, registration and fees, swim
meets, parent and swimmer responsibilities, workout groups, annual
events and much more. Because the world of competitive swimming can
be confusing at times, and in fact seem overwhelming to new
swimmers and their families, we want to help in any way we
can.
The City of Mobile
Swim Association strives to achieve excellence through
individualized growth and team unity. We will provide quality
leadership and instruction. Our coaching staff is experienced,
highly trained and certified through United States Swimming and the
American Swim Coaches Association. We maintain a safe team
environment where every swimmer is encouraged to build friendships,
work hard and have fun in the process of their development. We
provide the motivation and the discipline necessary to develop
self-esteem resulting in a winning experience for
all.
