The Forest Grove Swim Club began in 1969 under the direction of coach Bill Bauer. By the mid 1970s the team had grown to over 125 swimmers and had become known as the Dragons. Over the years the team has developed state, regional, zone and national swimmers, and you could be next.

Our team is comprised of beginner to elite swimmers. We do not have tryouts or waiting lists; everyone is welcome to join us as we challenge ourselves, help one another and develop skills of lifelong value. Applicants need only to be able to swim the length of the pool freestyle and backstroke comfortably.

Practices are held weekdays and meets are generally conducted on weekends. In both practices and competitions, athletes are encouraged to participate only at levels appropriate to their age and developmental level.
