Welcome to the Space City Aquatic Team (SCAT) Website! SCAT is a year round competitive swim team serving the greater southeast Houston and northern Galveston County areas. We are a member of the Gulf Swimming LSC, under the umbrella of USA Swimming. The determination and discipline displayed by the swimmers who swim with SCAT serves as an inspiration to the swimming community at large. The swim team has been represented at the Texas State Age Groups Swimming Championships (TAGS), Speedo Sectional Championships, USA Swimming Junior National, US Open, USA Swimming Senior National and the collegiate levels since 1977!
Space City Aquatic Team members believe that swimming is a lifelong sport and the coaching staff preaches ?Doing it right, Before doing more.?
