Congratulations to DMSF alum Colby Kubat for taking 2nd at NCAA Division III nationals in the 100 breaststroke! !

Through 3 days at ISI Champs we have 1 new winter junior cut, 10 plus new sectional cuts and tons of best times. Day 4. Team DMSF!

Long Course season begins Monday (April 1).

Both Bronze and Silver groups will start Monday at 6:00pm at Valley High School. We will have a short meeting, stretch and then swim.

The calendar is updated on our website through the end of May. The weekly schedule is as follows;

Bronze

Mon-Wed-Fri 6:00-7:00pm at VHS

Sat 1-2pm at VHS

Silver

Mon-Wed-Fri 6:00-7:15pm at VHS

Sat 1-2:15pm at VHS

Remember to call the hotline (515-830-1379) before practice to confirm practice times. If the hotline has not been updated from the day before, assume that we are on a normal daily schedule.

I just wanted to drop everybody an quick email before we start our LC season tomorrow (Mar 25).

Tues-Thur 7:15-9:00pm at SEP

Sat and Sun 11-1pm at VHS

Morning practices will begin April 1 at Prairie Life Fitness from 5:30-7:00am

Blue

Mon-Wed-Fri 6:00-8:00pm at VHS

Tues-Thur 6:00-7:45pm at VHS

Sat and Sun 11-1pm at VHS

Des Moines Swimming Federation is a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.

All of our coaches, as members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.

We are a non profit club, is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraiser.
