Established in 1987, Swim Columbus (SCSO) is a year round USA and MS Swimming competitive swim program located at the Downtown YMCA in Columbus, MS.  The club offers high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to meet competitor. Swim Columbus achieves this goal by promoting the skills of goal setting, self responsibility, hard work ethic and time management. Swimming is also a sport that one can be involved in for a lifetime.  Our program attempts to promote healthy lifestyles through exercise and proper nutrition.

Swim Columbus, a non profit club, is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets on a regular basis. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers. We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain a well rounded competitive swim team. Thank you for joining us. We are looking forward to meeting you.
