Dear NCA family,
Thank you!
My family and I are grateful for all the work done by the
coaching staff and all the parent volunteers. You were such a
big help setting up and taking everything down. You were so helpful
setting up the snack bar, checking people in, organizing the relays
and really organizing this event. The swimmers were great and
the senior swimmers did NCA proud. This would not have been
possible with out all of you. Thank you so much.

event brought in $6819.82 for Art of the Brain!!

WOW, the Aqua Fun Event on Sat the 26th was so much
fun!!! We had lots of relays. Parents, great job in the
water!!! Now we know where your kids get their natural
talent!! I think Coach Nate needed to sleep for the rest of
the day after his many swims. Rebecca Soni was a wonderful
addition to the morning signing pictures, t shirts, caps, shoes and
faces. The final relay between the Senior boys and some of
the past and present male coaches was quite exciting.
Bragging rights go to the coaches this year! Way to go!!!
Total Mileage for all the sites!!!
Ballys swam a total of 97.1
miles. That took them to Venice Beach!!!!
Boys and Girls club swam
a total of 76.4 miles and that took them north of Longbeach.
Carlsbad Municipal Pool
swam 262.2 kilometers to Portuguese Bend!!!
JCC swam 353.3
miles and it took them to Malibu Point!
Now you can take these
miles/kilometers to your friends and relatives and see if they will
sponsor you per mile. All $ needs to be turned in by Oct 23rd
in order to be eligible for the Amazing Quest Party on Nov

North Coast Aquatics
USA Swimming is proud to honor the commitment of our clubs
as we introduce the ninth year of the USA Swimming Club
Excellence Program. The focus of this voluntary program is to
identify and reward up to 200 USA Swimming clubs that have attained
a high level of athlete performance as well as organizational
success.
North Coast Aquatics, headquartered in Carlsbad, Vista and La
Jolla,California offers a complete program from the novice to
world-ranked swimmers.
North Coast Aquatics has been awarded Gold and Silver Medal
status by USA Swimming, ranking NCA as one of the top teams in
the nation.
North Coast Aquatics was founded in 1979 by Head Coach Jeff
Pease as one of the first coach-owned swim teams and is
currently the largest competitive swim team in the San Diego
area. NCA has 375 swimmers and 9 highly qualified coaches,
consistently fielding the strongest swim program in the county.
The North Coast mission statement is: "To provide a
program where each swimmer can achieve his/her highest level
possible and ultimately the attainment of the best college
opportunity possible." Over the last 30
years NCA and helped place over 225 of its swimmers into major
colleges across the United States.
