14&Under
Developmental Meet
FINS swimmers
achieved 36 first place finishes at the
14&Under Developmental on November 1. The following
swimmers placed first in their age groups for one or more events:
Will Barry (12), Julie Becker (11), Joel Copson (13), Becky Dionne
(14), Amit Eshed (10), Oliver French (12), Emma Gosselin (11),
Grace Gosselin (14), Natasha Kumar (13), Katie Mahoney (11), Mitch
Mahoney (10), Kylie Mihok (11), Austin McCalmont (12), Caroline
Shusta (12), Michael Shusta (10), Claire Spencer (13), Sucheta
Tamragouri (13), Jane Winarta (13), and Greg Zoda (13).
In addition to the above swimmers, the
following swimmers achieved personal bests in one or more of their
events: Katie Brink (12), Kaylee Champa (13), Noam Eshed (13),
Robert Gosse (12), Haley Miller (9), Kenzie Sweeney
(12). Congratulations to

under
swimmers!
Our 8&Under swimmers did a fantastic
job at the Developmental Meet at
UMass/Lowell. Brook Bakhit (7) Elena Copson (8),
Casi Glejzer (8), Murray Mahoney (8), Vaugn Mihok (7), Jane Ostberg
(7), Sasha Shrestha (8), Olivia Shusta (6), Sarah Ward (8), and
Eileen Zhuang (8) all achieved personal best times
in each of their events. Great job!
NE Swimming Honors Top 10
Swimmers
Congratulations to Emma Gosselin and
Matt Mahoney, who
were honored by New England Swimming as Top 10 Swimmers for the
2008-2009 season. USA Swimming National Team Member,
Mary (Descenza) Mohler, who broke the world record
for the 200m butterfly earlier this year, was the keynote
speaker at the Top 10 banquet held last
weekend.
