Albany Aquatics
Association is a
USA Swimming, year round competitive swim team, offering high
quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all
ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member
an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at
his or her level of ability, from novice to national
competitor.

(Daniel in picture) and their families attendent the meet in Coos
Bay mid-August. Many families camped in the park and we
shared team dinners, we swam 250+ races, played games, and
generally had a great time. Hope even more of you can attend
next year.

in joining, please come to the Albany Community Pool at 2150
SE 36th Ave SE next to the South Albany High School track, at 5
pm for a tryout on a Monday or
Wednesday. Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards of backstroke
and crawl stroke with side breathing. Breaststroke, butterfly
and diving will be taught in the novice 1 level and are not
required skills to join. Bring a comfortable suit and goggles. We welcome your
questions and encourage parents to be involved in their
children’s experience and be a part of our family oriented
team.

All our coaches, as members of USA
Swimming, have access to the most comprehensive training and
certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United
States. They provide assurances that the time our children
spend in swimming will be quality time.
Albany Aquatics Association is run by a board of
directors which meets monthly. All members are welcome
at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities
and fundraisers.
