2009 Block House Creek Tidal Waves

The BHC Tidal Waves Swim Team is a non-profit summer swim team located in Leander, Texas (a suburb of Austin, TX).  It is open to youths ages 4 to 17 years old.   This will be our 8th season as a member of the Northwest Swim Circuit, a 12 team swim club located in Northwest Austin.

The Tidal Waves start practice in May in preparation for Time Trials, six regular season meets that are held early Saturday morning, followed by a Divisional and Invitational Meet.

All of our coaches, as members of the American Swim Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in swimming will be quality time.

Block House Creek Tidal Waves, a non profit club, is run by its elected Board of Directors which meets throughout the year. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities.
