Crocodiles
Interpark
2012
Camelot
Crocodiles is a novice swim team for the beginning competitive
swimmer ages 6-14. Interpark swim teams build on the swimming
skills learned in swim lessons.
Practices are held
at Camelot Park Pool Monday-Friday from 8:00-9:00 am. Each of
the seven Interpark teams will compete in five or six dual meets
total. Meet times will vary between morning and
afternoon.
The Interpark swim
team season ends with the annual City Meet on Saturday,
July 28 at Recreation Pool. All of our seven teams compete
together during this meet.
There is a new
parent orientation meeting being held Saturday, June 16th at
4:30. There will also be a returning parent meeting during
Family Day and before the beginning of practice on Monday, June
18th. It is important for everyone to attend these meetings
to hear new information and updates about the upcoming
season.
The sixth
annual Interpark Family Day will be held on Saturday, June 16 from
6 to 7:30 pm. Swimmers and parents will have the opportunity
to meet the coaches and staff as well as see a stroke demonstration
and hear descriptions of each stroke. Families will also be able to
swim at Olympic at no cost and participate in games during this
time.
Each swim team has
offered a team suit that swimmers can purchase if they choose. This
is an optional purchase that many swimmers take advantage of each
season. Many families often ask where to purchase competitive suits
so we have conveniently offered them through our team site. Click
the link below to browse our team store. Swim caps will also be
available for purchase throughout the season for $6 each. Caps can
be purchased from swim coaches at practices and in the guard office
at meets.
Swimmers will
receive a team shirt on Picture
Day.
