Welcome to the Manor Woods Swim and Dive Team webpage! We are excited to be starting the 2012 season. Manor Woods Swim Club is located at 14410 Bauer Drive, Rockville, MD 20853 (Phone 301-460-0899). The goal of the Manor Woods Swim and Dive Teams is to provide an opportunity for children aged 4 to 18 to have fun and to build self-confidence, endurance, self-discipline, and good sportsmanship through competitive swimming and diving in a safe environment.
Our new swim team head coach is Jason Cordero, who is a Manor Woods swim team alum. This year, the Manor Woods Swim Team is competing in Division “K” of the MCSL. The division is comprised of Manor Woods, Waters Landing, Quail Valley, Hillandale, Kenmont and Norbeck Grove. For the “B” meets, we will be swimming against Wheaton Woods, Washingtonian Woods, Tanterra, King Farm, and a new MCSL team, the Willows of Potomac.
On-line registration will be open on April 15, 2012. Each family will have an account where they can view children’s times, volunteer for swim or dive meets, sign children up for swim meets, and order team suits on-line. The team suit this year is the Tyr Firerock (click on the Manor Woods Team Gear button). Everything you need to do or want to know about the swim, pre-team, and dive teams are now on the website.
