Scrips
SPA is excited to once again offer
the Scrips program. Scrips is an easy way for you to help
raise funds for our swim team while simply doing your weekly
shopping. Scrips are gift cards that you spend just like
cash. Here is how it works:

Select your
favorite retailer(s) from the extensive Scrips list. You can
find the list atwww.glsrip.com or view the attached GLSC
Product List. Each retailer offers a different percentage
back to the team.

Print out the
attached order form and place your order for the # of Scrips (gift
cards) you would like from your chosen retailers. (Please
note that payment in full [cash or check] is required to process
order.)
·
Pick up your
order 5-7 days later and shop!
The program does not cost you
anything. For example: if you place an order for eight (8)
Gymboree scrips totaling $200 (8 scrips @ $25 each), you receive
the full $200 in scrips to spend at the store. Our swim team
raises 13% of that sale - $26! Fundraising helps keep fees
down for all of us and every little bit really does
count.
We will be accepting orders
this Friday, November 13th at Club Sienna from 4
– 5; Monday, November 16th at Brushy Lake from 4:00
– 4:45 & 5:15 – 5:45; Tuesday, November 17th at Club Sienna from
4:30 – 5:30. If you would like to place an order
and cannot make any of the above times and dates or you have any questions,
please email Cybil at cstreeter@entouch.net. Also, please consider donating
canned goods to those in need in our area. You can drop them
off with your order. Thank you.
To all
Sienna Plantation Aquatic parents who are interested running for a
board position! It is time for our annual election for board
members. This year we have one opening on the Board, which is
for a three year commitment. Once the election is
conducted the full Board will meet to determine individual roles
(President, Vice President, Treasurer, etc.) based on the expertise
of the Board representatives. All current SPA members that
have actively participated in committee and team related activities
are eligible to run for election. The election will be held at
the Holiday party in December. All interested parties should
contact Brad Hammond via email at bradh@horizonwinestx.com for
further information or to indicate your desire to stand for
election. For anyone seeking election please include a short
Bio in your message to Brad that will be posted on the website for
members to view prior to the election.

Sienna Plantation Aquatics is a USS year round
competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching
and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of
Sienna Plantation Aquatics is to provide every member an
opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his
or her level of ability, from novice to international
competitor.
All of our coaches, as members of the American Swim Coaches
Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and
certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United
States. They provide assurances that the time children spend in
swimming will be quality time.
The Sienna Plantation Aquatics, a non profit club, is run by its
elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are
welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team
activities and fundraisers.
We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain a
well rounded competitive swim team. Thank you for joining us. We
are looking forward to meeting you. Please feel free to ask another member or coach any question
you may have.
