CONGRATULATIONS Lana Skidmore and Jay Grigsby on being named KY Swimming "Co-Volunteer of the Year" recipients.  Both Lana and Jay have put in countless hours of volunteer time in front and behind the scenes of KY Swimming.  Please thank them for all their hard work next time you see them.

NEW SWIMSUIT RULE PASSED BY USA SWIMMING

Effective October 1, 2009 for all ages. Male suits cannot extend above the navel or below the knee. Female suits cannot cover the neck, extend past the shoulder or below the knee. Suit must be textile material. Click here for complete rule.

ATTENTION OFFICIALS and THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO BECOME AN OFFICIAL!!  New Certification and Recertification Clinics are now posted on the "Officials" tab as well as the KYLSC Calendar.  On the Calendar, please click the "Officials Training" from the drop down menu.  The schedule is continually being updated.

Jan 15 -17 - Telford YMCA Classic - closed meet 

Jan 16-17 - Sharks Winter Dip - Cancelled

Feb. 19 - 21 -  SUSS Valentine Inv. - Moved to Feb. 26 - 28

Kentucky Swimming Mission Statement - To support the athlete through the promotion and development of competitive swimming.

Kentucky Swimming geographic territory is the state of Kentcuky, except Campbell, Kenton and Boone Counties and includes Clark and Floyd Counties in Indiana.

Kentucky Swimming’s objectives and primary purpose shall be the education, instruction and training of individuals to develop and improve their capabilities in the sport of swimming.  Kentucky Swimming shall promaote swimming for the benefit of swimmers of all ages and abilities, in accordance with the standards, rules, regulations, policies and procedures of FINA, USA Swimming, and Kentucky Swimming and its Articles of Incorporation.
