NOB Swim Club Fees – three options for payment: (1) annual, (2) winter session or (3) summer session. Monthly installments are charged if you chose to pay monthly. There is a USA Swimming fee of $53 which you pay once a year and we also charge a registration fee which covers adminstrative cost for the team.  Other fees include meet entry fees which you get billed once you compete in meets.

We do offer a scholarship program to those families that qualify.  An application process would be required to be accepted into the program. Please contact Pam Barr for more information at pambarrsc@hotmail.com

The Club currently has 6 groups of swimmers based on skill and age.

 

Emerald
swimmers who have completed the
Learn-to-Swim requirements are able to
complete the required skills at the time
of tryouts. Swimmers in this group are usually
10 and under.  This group meets three
nights a week for one hour in the early
evening in the winter season and midmornings
in the summer season.

 

Diamond
swimmers who are legal in all four
strokes and are between the ages of 8
and 10. This group will prepare swimmers
for formal training. The Diamond
group meets three to four times a week
for one hour in the early evenings in the
winter season and mid-morning and
early evening during the summer season.

 

Gold
perform all four strokes legally and
have correct freestyle and backstroke
turns. Swimmers in this group will continue
to work on all stroke techniques,
starts and turns while building on endurance
swimming. Swimmers in this
group must be able to read a pace clock
and have knowledge of interval training.
The Gold group meets five times a
week for two hours in the early evenings
during the winter season and the
summer season.

 

Silver 
swimmers have demonstrated that they
can competete a length of freestyle and
backstroke.  Swimmers in this group
are generally11 years and older.
Swimmers in this group will continue
to work on allstroke techniques, starts and
turns. The Silver group meets 3-4
nights a week for 1 1/2 hours
each night.

 

Junior
swimmers who are 11 years and
older. Each swimmer must be
able to compete in all of the
events in their respective age
group. Time standards are required
for swimmers in this
group. Junior swimmers will
work on high-intensity, endurance
training. Swimmers in this group
must also be able to read a pace
clock and have knowledge of interval
training. The JuniorGroup will meet
five days a weekfor 2 hours after
school in thewinter season and
early morning the summer season.

 

Senior
made up of swimmers in high
school. Swimmers begin in the
Senior group the spring of
their eighth grade year. The
focus of this group is to train at a
high level of intensity with the
main goal being to achieve state
time standards. This group will
also prepare swimmers for the
highly competitive high school season.
