Swimmer Registration

Welcome to the Nebraska Aquatics Swim Club!!!  We are looking forward to a great year and are glad that you are going to be part of it.  Before a swimmer may participate in Nebraska Aquatics (NA) activities all fees must be paid, the forms listed below must be completed, signed, and returned to our registration chair, Coach Amy.  If you have any registration questions, please call Coach Amy at 402-309-5020 or email at Nebraska_Aquatics@yahoo.com .

USEFUL INFORMATION: 2009 – 2010 FEE SCHEDULE  

Parents with more than one swimmer may reduce the monthly fee for each additional swimmer over the first swimmer by $5.00 per swimmer.

Payment of Fees:         Monthly fees are billed via email the 21st of each month and are due by the 25th of the billed month.

QUITTING THE TEAM:             Any swimmer wishing to leave the team must submit a written statement to the treasurer at least 30 days before leaving.

Delinquency Policy:                  Fees are expected to be paid by the 25th of the month billed.  Fees past due will be charged a late fee of $10.00.  There is a $15.00 late fee for all accounts 45 days past due.  Fees past 60 days will be cause for removal of all swimmers in the family from practice and meets until the account is current.

Annual Family Membership Dues and Swimmer Fundraising Obligation:           The annual family membership dues are $150 per family.  Each swimmer is obligated to raise funds of $50.00 per swimmer.  See information on the family dues and the fundraising obligation on following page.

Parent Service Hours:              Nebraska Aquatics is a non-profit organization that is entirely supported by volunteers.  A major emphasis for the club is to secure needed workers for club sponsored events.  These events help to keep your membership dues as low as possible.  Whether you are a longstanding or new member, you know that the fees you pay cover only a portion of our expenses.  NA hosts 3 to 4 swim meets per year that provide us the potential to earn significant additional funds with which to operate the team.  Without the additional funds generated by these swim meets membership dues would be significantly higher.  A well run swim meet requires a large number of volunteers.  Spread out over the entire membership this amounts to two-three sessions per meet per family. Some needed tasks need little or no training (hospitality, timing).  Others require specialized training (officiating, computer operations).  All are necessary to host a well-run meet. A meet that is not well run will not be well attended and will eventually cease to exist. We urge each family to volunteer whatever time they can, when they can, to make this a rewarding experience for the swimmers.  Families choosing to buy out of a volunteer session may do so at the rate of $25.00 per session.

USA Swimming Registration Fee:     This fee will establish the swimmer’s amateur status as a competitive swimmer, and provide insurance coverage during swim practice sessions and meets. The fee is $52.00 for the swim year.  This non-refundable fee is due at registration.
