Registration is ongoing through the Fall for new, existing, and former swimmers! Registration special: Register BEFORE August 1st, only registration fee is due, after August 1st it is registration fee plus first month fees.

All swimmers, new and existing, please attend our Open House practices starting August 14th and ending August 24th (M-TH only):

Since 1969, the YMCA of Greensboro has been the proud home of the GCY Swim Team. We offer a comprehensive swimming program for the Greensboro area. GCY is founded on the belief that a child’s involvement in competitive swimming offers a unique opportunity and an invaluable experience in his or her life; one that will help shape athletes as both competitors and individuals. Whether you are just getting started or you strive to compete at the national level, you will meet new friends, have fun, and swim fast!

Programs include:

• Age Group Swim Team (all levels, ages 5-18, Age Group, Senior Prep, and Senior levels)
• Makos 1, Makos 2, and Makos 3 (for seasonal and entry level competition, ages 5-18, YMCA only competition)
• National Groups (highest skill level in region/nation, competing at state, regional, and national levels)
• Masters Swim Team (all levels, ages 19&Up, significant discounts for GCY parents, tri-athletes and former swimmers WELCOMED!)
