We are currently accepting registrations for our Spring and
Summer sessions. Current members will be given preference
until after the registration deadline of Friday, April 24th.
All new swimmers must call or email to schedule a tryout before
being allowed to register. All team members must be
Full-Priveleged members of the Merrimack Valley YMCA.
Practice (Training)
Groups
TIDAL WAVE, TYPHOON, BRONZE,
SILVER and GOLD groups may swim Spring or Summer or both
sessions. These swimmers will compete in YMCA and Summer
Aquatic League meets only, including SAL championship
meets for those swimmers who attain the
time standards.
MONSOON, JUNIOR and SENIOR
swimmers will participate in YMCA meets and USA meets. These
groups will be in session from April 27th until August.
NATIONAL swimmers will be in
session year-round with scheduled breaks in April and
August.
The cost will be $1500 annually or
$125 monthly bank draft.

Membership:
Swimmers must be a
Family or General Member of the Andover/North
Andover YMCA. Swimmers must maintain their membership to
participate on the team. Please contact the Member Services Desk at
the YMCA about membership rates.

Fees:
- Fees may be paid in full at
the time of registration. (National swimmers may pay fees on a
monthly basis.)
- Swimmers are committed to the
full team fee for the Season.
- For USA groups, a fee of $200
will be included in your registration fee to be used toward USA
meet entry fees. The unused portion of this fee will be
returned to you in the form of a YMCA credit.
- Checks should be made payable
to:

Financial
Assistance: It is the goal of the
Merrimack Valley YMCA to provide services for individuals and
families who wish to participate in activities and programs of the
YMCA regardless of their ability to pay – our application
process is easy, and most importantly, completely
confidential. Families who need financial assistance to
participate on the Hurricanes Swim Team should contact Sue Grant,
