MISSION STATEMENT
To CHALLENGE participants to reach for greater heights; to INSPIRE participants to find passion in all of their endeavors; to UNITE participants as members of a team.

FIRST MATES
The YMCA Presidio Aquatics Club also offers a "First Mates" program as a stepping stone between swim lessons and the competitive youth swim team.  This non-competitive class meets twice per week, giving students either the basic skills needed for participation with the competitive swim team or a non-competitive alternative with a low Instructor:Participant ratio.  Swimmers work on building endurance and refining stroke technique.
