Swimmer 3 has a 50% discount (10% for half-time swimmers)
Swimmer 4 has a 75% discount (10% for half-time swimmers)

The highest rate is automatically applied to swimmer 1 and the discount will ascend accordingly.  This discount applies to swimmers of immediate relation or legal custody.

Monthly Billing runs from September through July.  Billing is done monthly through our team website and your invoice will arrive via email. There is no prorating for partial months.  If you sign up in the middle of the month, you will be billed for that month, or you can choose to wait until the begriming of the next month (if space is available).

Registration Fee  The annual fee is $180 per swimmer (With a $350 per family maximum).  This includes the cost of the USA Swimming Registration Fee and covers insurance and other support services provided to clubs and athletes by USA Swimming and Pacific Northwest Swimming.  This fee covers club administrative expenses and is due upon registration. (Note: This fee is reduced to $125 per swimmer after March 28th - and your swimmer will be registered as a seasonal swimmer).

Athlete Transfer Fee  The fee only applies if the swimmer is changing swim clubs into PNS or within PNS.

Meet Fees  When your swimmer attends a meet this fee will be billed on your statement. The fees are composed of a base meet entry fee plus the cost of each individual event and are forwarded by ORCA to the hosting club. WhiteWater Orcas charge a fee of $2 per individual event to cover coaching and expenses. At championship meets, an additional fee may be added to the meet surcharge to cover team clothing for the specific meet.

Outreach

Outreach membership offers qualified individuals the opportunity to become a USA Swimming year-round athlete member at a reduced fee. The goal is to provide opportunities in swimming to under-represented and/or economically disadvantaged youth in the United States.

Pacific Northwest Swimming uses the free/reduced lunch eligibility letter as proof of qualification.  The form must accompany the athlete registration. PNS has set the outreach membership fee at $0.00 for the athlete.

Pacific Northwest Swimming also established the Heidloff Outreach Fund.  Meet Entry Vouchers are made available to clubs for Outreach athlete members to submit for meets within Pacific Northwest Swimming.

Service Hours

We appreciate the help of all our swim families to ensure our team runs smoothly. There are several service hour opportunities available throughout the year.  This is a great time to meet other parents, support your swimmer and have fun!  These include being on the Board, serving on committees, timing at meets, helping with the annual banquet, working at ORCA-hosted meets and events, and more. Each family is required to complete a minimum of 25 service hours per year.  If the mandated hours are not fulfilled, there is a charge of $20 for each hour that is not completed. If a family chooses to leave the team prior to the end of the year, the service hours will be prorated by 2 hours per month, and payment will be collected upon leaving the team.

Fundraising

As part of WhiteWater Orcas, each family is expected to participate in the fundraising activities of the club. Approximately 10% of the club’s operating expenses are covered by fundraising events.  These activities are generally limited to the Swim-a-Thon and team hosted meets.  Your participation in these events is necessary so that we are able to maintain the current fee structure.

Late Payments

Statements will be emailed at the beginning of each month and due by the 15th. Late payments will be assessed a $15 late fee. Payments not received by the 15th of that statement cycle may result in the rescinding of swimming privileges. There will be a $25 fee assessed for NSF checks.

Withdrawal from Team or Termination

Written notification (email is sufficient) must be received by Billing at orcaswimclub@outlook.com on or before the 15th of the month prior to becoming inactive or withdrawing in order to avoid being billed for the next month. If you temporarily withdraw from the team for a period of time you will be charged a $20 reactivation fee upon return. A swimmer who participates in any practices within a billing cycle is responsible for the full month dues.
