Wondering about the Cost?
RAA is a parent-run organization. All costs for meets, coaches, and
shared equipment come from our monthly fees and fundraising
efforts. Dues range from $68 to $96 per month.
What to Expect
RAA holds its members to a very high code of conduct. It is important to remember that RAA is not an "after
school" program. As a parent, you are responsible for your
child’s transportation to and from practice sessions.
Discounts
A $25.00 discount for second swimmer and $20.00 discount for third
swimmer in the same family (excluding college and masters). There
is no family discount for both sports. The maximum charge per
family is $250.00 for swimming. **Discounts do not
apply to college, masters or swimming as a second sport.

assessed a $15.00 late fee if received after the 21st of the
month, swimmer will not be able to enter water until dues are paid
in full or payment arrangements are made.
Make checks payable to RAA. You can put them
black box in the swim office or mail them directly to: Riverside
Aquatics Association, P.O. Box 1193, Riverside, CA 92502
Please use the memo line on your check to indicate your RAA
account number, swimmer’s name, and group. If the payment is
for something other than dues, please indicate that on the check
also. This will ensure your account will be credited
accurately.
-
Waiving Monthly Dues

how many days they attend practice. However, if the swimmer/parent
notifies the accountant/pool manager in writing within 5 days of
the month in which they plan to not swim, dues shall be waived.

Annual Family Registration
Fee
The family registration fee is $40.00 per year
per family and is due at registration. This fee covers costs of
meet forms, printing, awards, etc. Please include this when you
complete your new registration form for the upcoming swim
season.
The annual SCS registration fee is $55.00 per
swimmer. All athletes must register with Southern California
Swimming.
SCS registration forms may be obtained from the
Membership chairman
Masters swimmers must register with the Masters
organization (SPMA). This is for insurance purposes and allows a
swimmer to participate in SCS sanctioned meets. Swimmers will not
be permitted to train with RAA or compete at SCS meets without the
proper registration.
Note: All
parents using the pool for lap swim must be registered with SCS as
non-athletes.
In addition to membership fees, each family is
responsible for working eight hours at each RAA hosted swim meet.
Usually, the RAA hosts two meets per
year.
If you do not fulfill your obligation you will be
assessed a $75 per meet fee.
