Joining CBA is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3
You can join CBA
anytime during the year. Stop by and meet the coaches. They
will professionally evaluate your swimmer and determine which
training group they should be in.
- Print and fill out
the CBA Registration Form
- Print and fill out
the 2010
USA Swimming Athlete Registration ($66 good until
December 31, 2010). Make check payable to CBA. Turn in
form to your coach with payment and birth
certificate attached.
If you are transferring from another team, print out and turn in
the Transfer
Form. There is no cost to transfer
clubs.
- Come to the
pool, Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, with
suit, towel, cap, goggles, and meet the coaches and
swimmers.

An entry level group with emphasis on proper technique in the four
competitive strokes. Competition is available for those who
desire it, but it is not required. After the first
competition, this swimmer will move to Age Group 1.

Age Group 1
– The first of the progressive competitive practice
groups. Advanced stroke instruction and basic training
techniques prepare the swimmer to enjoy and succeed in a healthy
competitive environment. 3 to 4 practices a week.
Age Group 2
– A program for committed and motivated young
swimmers. They must desire to work and progress towards the
highest State and National Age group Standards. Training and
instruction are at advanced levels. 4 to 5 practices a
week.

A program for High School and Junior High School age swimmers who
wish to progress to the senior level of swimming. The focus of
this group is to improve stroke skills, conditioning and
endurance. Swimmers in this group compete at the local and
regional levels. 4 to 5 practices a week.

– A program for High School age swimmers who wish to progress
to Senior level of swimming. The focus of this group is to improve
stroke skills, conditioning and endurance. Swimmers in this

Senior Group 2
– Swimmers in this group have the ability to train
consistently in a highly intensive training environment. The
objective of this group is to reach National and International
levels of competition. 5 to 8 practices a week.
